I had the honor to watch two people in my youth group grow up before my eyes and watch them get married. If I’m going to be honest … my youth group have a bad habit of guessing how long a couple is going to last – it’s been a running joke for years. Almost 2 years later, they proved us all wrong. We should’ve known it was going to be real when he kept posting pictures of her on Instagram (which NEVER happens).
The new Mr. and Mrs. Seggay had an intimate South Jersey wedding officiated by the Bride’s father. Perhaps the best part of this wedding is seeing how loved they both were. Their family and friends that surrounded them made sure they had a beautiful wedding. Every little detail was meaningful. I’ve never seen bridesmaids go ABOVE and BEYOND for their friends.
Fitz and Trish, your vows were humbling to witness. Thank you for trusting me with your special day. Everything about your wedding had so much heart. It was truly an honor to be a part of it.

I’m going to warn you ahead of time: this blog is going to be a bit long. Juan and Connie’s wedding can’t be summarized in a paragraph or two. It was a beautiful and special wedding.
As a wedding coordinator, you need to abide by a strict timeline but there was so many times I had to stop and surrender to those special moments we can’t rewind. Maybe it’s not traditional… but to be honest, that’s what weddings are about… is to live IN the moment. Philadelphia was gracious enough to give them the perfect backdrop for their first look. I love it when photographers will do whatever it takes to get that perfect shot for the couple. I was honored to work with Ron Soliman whose work is breathtakingly AMAZING. Which is probably another reason why I can’t stop sharing the photos he took.
The bride’s father has been battling cancer for some time now and really wanted to make it to Connie’s wedding. He unfortunately wasn’t able to attend but his spirit was there. This moment shared by father and daughter right after the wedding ceremony is priceless.
Let’s not forget about the groom. I must say, the groom and his family are one of the sweetest people I have ever met. Juan’s mom had back pain that she only agreed to dance for a few minutes but it was such a sweet moment shared between mom and son. Watching her dance with her son brought me to happy tears despite the language barrier, you can feel how much she loved and adored him.
I can’t begin to tell you how blessed I am to be a part of this beautiful wedding and witness these two become one family. Having fun with the bride and groom is one thing, but having fun with the bride, groom, bridal party AND family is something I’m always going to remember. I can keep going and list down every single moment that made me laugh and cry but I feel like this blog’s not going to end. Thank you Juan and Connie for trusting us, it truly was my joy to be a part of your day.
